Linkwasha Camp (opening May 2015) is situated in a prime location in the south-eastern corner of Hwange National Park. Built on the same site as the old Linkwasha, the camp is near the famed Ngamo Plains, which offers fantastic summer game viewing – to add to the already excellent winter viewing within the private Linkwasha Concession.
Overlooking a pan that is a magnet for game across all seasons, the fresh, open and airy design of the camp is complemented by an eclectic mix of contemporary interiors. The eight luxurious en-suite tents (seven twin and one family) all offer uninterrupted views of the waterhole, while the main area includes various multi-level decks, a pool and a winter lounge complete with fireplace and library.
Activities include day and night game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, walks (depending on qualified guide availability) and local village visits. Guests also have the option of spending a night under the spectacular African skies on a nearby “star bed”.
